About Evenflow Workshop
I am not sure where to begin with this. I have never had a website before, or even much of an online presence on social media. I am very much out of my comfort zone in putting myself out here on the web with the products I have made. This all started out several years ago when we had a wood burner installed to our house. At the time, we had nowhere to store the firewood outside and it had to temporarily live in the garage.
I decided that I would like to build a log store and set about measuring and drawing up plans. My first visit to the timber yard resulted in me feeling very much out of my depth. Surrounded by experienced tradesmen buying timber for active jobs, I muddled my way through my order with the help of the staff before leaving feeling like a bit of a fool. a few days later the timber arrived and I set to work over a couple of weekends with no experience and no certainty that my plans would come to fruition.
What a relief it was when the pieces started to fit together as planned and a real sense of achievement when I completed my first project.
This built some confidence that I could do it and make other things too. Over the years I have made a number of large and small projects, some for us to have at home and others as gifts for friends and family. Time and time again, people would say to me that I should start selling items. I was reluctant, and used lack of time and other reasons not to put myself out there. This, after all, is my hobby not my job. However, I have finally taken the plunge and am applying to attend craft fairs as well as having a website of my own. This launched in June 2025 and will no doubt develop and improve as I figure out how it all works.
I hope you like what you see as you browse the pages and if there is something unique that you are searching for but cannot find, I can do commissions and custom made items. If this is something you want to enquire about, please do get in touch.
